For individuals, couples & fellow professionals -
in person near nature, or online from anywhere.
Hello, I’m Claire.I'm an experienced & BACP accredited psychotherapist offering a safe, calm and confidential space to explore what’s going on in your life. I work from a peaceful, private cabin on my smallholding, surrounded by nature.Whether you're looking for support through a difficult time, a place to explore your inner world or a way to strengthen your relationships, you're welcome here.My approach is warm, relational and collaborative - counselling is something we will do together. I take time to get to know you and between us, we will make sense of what’s going on and find a way forward.

Life can be overwhelming. Counselling can help.
Whether you’re navigating a recent challenge or carrying something that’s been with you for a long time, I offer a space to slow down, reflect and feel heard. Some of the issues I work with are:
Anxiety, stress, and panic • Grief, bereavement & unresolved loss • Coping with a cancer diagnosis – for you or someone you love • Feeling disconnected or emotionally numb • Depression and low mood • Intense emotions that feel hard to manage • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence • Relationship and family difficulties • Feeling stuck or lost in life • Anger and frustration.Through our work together, we can:
Gently process grief and honour your loss • Restore hope, calm and clarity • Build emotional resilience and self-awareness • Explore and release the impact of past trauma • Understand your feelings, patterns, and triggers • Deepen your sense of self-worth and purpose • Create more meaningful relationships • Develop practical tools and coping strategies. What to Expect:
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and explore what brings you here. We’ll talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and see if working together feels like the right fit. There’s no obligation to continue after this.
If you do decide to start a course of therapy, ongoing sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly, either in person or via Zoom. I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy depending on your needs. We’ll review our work together regularly to make sure it continues to feel supportive and effective.Fees:
£60 per session - extended sessions are available by arrangement.
The fee is payable in advance via bank transfer. Cancellation requires a full 24 hours’ notice or the full fee will be charged.

Relationships are complex – even strong ones need support sometimes.
Whether you’re struggling with communication, recovering from a rupture, or simply want to deepen your connection, couples therapy provides a safe space to reflect, understand, and reconnect.Together, we can explore:
Recurring arguments or unresolved conflicts • A sense of emotional distance or disconnection • Infidelity or betrayal • Difficulties with intimacy or sex • External pressures impacting your relationship • The influence of past experiences and family dynamics. I work collaboratively with both of you, offering guidance, clarity and structure. Therapy isn’t about blame - it’s about understanding yourselves and each other more fully. From that understanding, new possibilities can emerge.Couples therapy can also help you build vital skills such as:
Communication and listening • Conflict resolution • Managing strong emotions • Rebuilding trust • Developing shared goals and values. You don’t have to attend therapy as a couple - I also work with individuals who want to explore their relationship dynamics independently.Fees:
£80 per 1-hour session - extended sessions are available by arrangement.
Sessions are payable in advance via bank transfer. Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice or the full fee will be charged.
